County Legislative Incumbents Outdistance Opponents For Wins
Republicans McKevitt and Rhoades were victorious in their races, according to Board of Elections results.

BELLMORE, NY — All 19 county legislative seats were on the Election Day ballot. Among them, incumbents Steven Rhoads and Thomas McKevitt, who handled won their races, according to the Nassau County Board of Elections.
In the 13th Legislative District, which represents North Bellmore, North Merrick and East Meadow, McKevitt, the Republican, had 11,104 votes, 68.2 %, with 100 percent of the precincts in.
His challenger Eileen Napolitano received 5,165 votes or 31.7 %.

In the 19th Legislative District, which represents the southern end of Bellmore, Merrick and Wantagh, Republican Steven Rhoads had 72 %, 12,643 votes.
His opponent Jacob Schuster got 4,849 votes, or 27.7 %.
