Crime Report: Merrick Stores Charged, Property Damaged

The following arrest information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department; it does not indicate a conviction.

  • A New york judge on Nov. 21 told Merrick local Dina Lohan to get a psychological evaluation and join community service program if she wants leniency following her Sept. 12 DWI arrest.
  • Hess Market Inc. and Gian Wine and Liquor in Merrick were two of seven businesses that were busted for selling alcohol to minors on Nov. 22. 
  • Graffiti was found on the inside of a building on Merrick Avenue on Nov. 22.
  • On Nov. 29, plates were removed from a vehicle that was parked on Bangs Avenue in North Merrick.
