The location was due to reopen on March 28 but is still shuttered.

MERRICK, NY — Popular burger joint Five Guys is temporarily closed. The Town of Hempstead Department of Building placed a violations sign on the front window of the Merrick restaurant.

The Merrick Road burger eatery was cited for construction without a permit and plumbing without a permit. The town issued the violations on March 21, saying that all work must stop immediately.
