1. It's the deli's "party season": With summer here, Crave owner Mark Haber said that he is extremely busy catering food for local shindigs. Crave serves panini, wraps, burgers, variety salads, sandwichs, hot dogs and soups. "We offer catering for BBQ's, parties and all types of events," he said.
2. Crave now serves gluten free sandwiches: "We found something that is worth eating," Haber said. "We serve gluten free breads."
3. The business has been open four years: "We opened in Feburary 2009 and we are getting stronger everyday," Haber said.
4. Crave gives back to the community: Every year Crave has a "Crave Day" in which 15 percent of the proceeds goes to one of the Merrick schools. "We donate to every school and we do fundraisers for the PTA," Haber said.
