Flag Field Honors Veterans For 2nd Year At Merrick Ave. Middle School
The flags will fly throughout November.
MERRICK, NY — For the second year in a row, Merrick Avenue Middle School is flying flags in support of veterans.
The Flag Field of Honor will be installed across the front of the school from Nov. 4 to Dec. 8.
Proceeds from sponsorships will be donated to Honor Flight Long Island and the Bellmore-Merrick Community Cupboard.

The Mack family, who has an eighth grader attending Merrick Avenue, secured supplies, storage and materials for the flag field.
You can sponsor American flags for $20 for one and three for $50. It's $50 for a US Military or POW/MIA flag sponsor.
