Lakeside Elementary Students Build 'Sweet Homes'
Students used critical thinking skills to construct and decorate gingerbread houses as a fun homage to the holidays.
In honor of the holiday season, Lakeside Elementary School kindergartners built gingerbread houses, according to a school press release.
Janet Iseman’s kindergarten class covered Hansel and Gretel Thursday and then applied their critical thinking skills to assemble their homes with icing and graham crackers.
“They loved it,” said Iseman.

After their homes were built, kindergartners decorated them with Gumdrops, Skittles, Twizzlers and Snowcaps, creating windows, doors and grass.
