Police say he exposed himself to three teenagers walking to school in March.

MERRICK, NY — Nassau County police arrested a man they said exposed himself to three girls who were walking to school in March.

According to police, three 16-year-old girls were walking on Webster Avenue at the intersection of Pettit Avenue at 11:05 a.m. on March 25, heading to Calhoun High School.

Police said the girls saw a man standing next to a white Chevrolet Express van. The man exposed his genitals to the girls, who continued to the school and told administrators what happened, police said.

On Aug. 12, police arrested Nelon Bartholomew, 43, of Mother Gaston Boulevard, Brooklyn.

Bartholomew is charged with two counts of exposure of a person, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, two counts of public lewdness and two counts of fourth-degree stalking. He is scheduled to be arraigned later Thursday.
