Mepham Holds Workshop With Harvard University

Mepham High School held a workshop with Harvard University representatives for guidance counselors in the Nassau County area this month. 

The day was spent reviewing the profiles of students and discussing the admissions process for Harvard. 

During the session numerous topics were discussed such as: questions pertaining to what admissions committees look for in potential students, what attributes make for a solid Harvard candidate and how academics, teacher recommendations and interviews are weighted in the process.

The Harvard representatives also reviewed how to write a recommendation letter for students with Mepham staff members and spoke with pupils who were interested in attending the university.
