🌱 Hempstead Town Weighs Marijuana Opt-Out

The Town of Hempstead held a meeting to discuss opting out of recreational marijuana sales. A North Bellmore family talks about the experience of being displaced after a house fire.

2. Hempstead Town held a hearing Tuesday morning to get residents' input on opting out of recreational marijuana sales. The town has until Dec. 31 to decide to opt out. (Subscription: Newsday)
