Merrick School Board Salutes November Stars

The teachers and students who were named November Merrick Stars were honored during the Nov. 17 Board of Education business meeting.

The November staff recipients were Chatterton Elementary School teachers Deborah Cain and Victoria Ryan and district bus driver Evelyn Judge. The student winners were Georgia Karantenislis, Julie Moehringer, Julia Murray, Julia Sussman, Grant Weinstein and Matthew Zavelston.

The Merrick Stars award program recognizes staff and students who go above and beyond to help the school community. Staff recipients receive a Merrick Stars plaque, and students receive a certificate of recognition and Merrick Stars T-shirt.
