"We hope that the members of the MAMS community will join us in creating our first field of honor by honoring your friends and/or family members who have served our country and sponsor a flag," said Principal Katelyn Dunn.

Proceeds from the sponsorships will be donated to Honor Flight Long Island for veterans, and the Bellmore-Merrick Community Cupboard. It will cost $20 per flag, or 3 for $50. For information about sponsoring a flag, you can contact Jessica Mack at jessimack@gmail.com 516-721-4175.
