Merrick Student Works in Senator Fuschillo's Office
Adam Samowitz, a senior at Kennedy High School, worked in the office as part of his school's "Senior Experience" program.

Adam Samowitz, a senior at Kennedy High School and a Merrick resident, will spend several weeks working in Senator Charles Fuschillo's district office as part of Kennedy’s “Senior Experience” program.
During his time in Fuschillo’s office, Samowitz assisted Fuschillo and his staff with research, constituent service and community outreach programs.
“Adam is a hard-working and energetic young man who was extremely helpful to my office," Fuschillo said. "We enjoyed working with him and wish him all the best in the future.”
Kennedy’s “Senior Experience” program is a progressive, hands-on program that allows graduating seniors to work with professionals in a field of their choice. During the course of the program, students learn about the day-to-day responsibilities and challenges in the chosen field, while gaining knowledge of the particular requirements involved.
