Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt In Southern State Pkwy Crash: State Police

NORTH MERRICK, NY — A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash Monday night at the Meadowbrook Parkway southbound ramp to the Southern State Parkway westbound ramp, state police said.

At approximately 10:20 p.m., a white 2016 Ducati motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it collided with a white 2010 Mazda on the ramp, police said.

The motorcyclist got ejected from his bike and struck the metal guardrail, state police said.
