Nassau Teenager Chosen To Represent US At Maccabi Games

SOUTH MERRICK, NY — John F. Kennedy High School sophomore soccer star Isabelle Sivin has been chosen to represent the U.S. at the 2022 Maccabi Games in Israel.

She'll be one of 24 female soccer players from across the country to compete for Team USA next summer.

The Maccabi Games are the second largest organized sports program for Jewish teenagers in the world.

The United States is one of 80 countries competing in 39 sports during the three weeks in July.

Athletes range from 13 to 16 years old.
