North Merrick's 2024-2025 Budget Passes Tuesday

NORTH MERRICK, NY — Residents approved North Merrick's 2024-2025 school budget on Tuesday. Voters, by a two-to-one margin, passed the $41,191,614 budget (497-231 votes). It's a $2.3 million increase from the previous budget.
Proposition 2: Capital Reserve Fund Expenditure passed, 570-154.
The proposition authorizes the $105,000 for partial replacement of the roof at Camp Avenue School.
