1. News 12 Long Island explores an impressive event: the Special Olympics Plane Pull was held for the first time on Long Island at Republic Airport on Saturday. Angel Athenas, a Huntington resident and the reigning Special Olympics power lifter and four-time gold medal winner, is leading one of the teams who will compete to see who can pull a plane the farthest.
