Registration Starts Next Month for Kindergarten In North Merrick

NORTH MERRICK, NY — Families can begin the process of entering their children for kindergarten in the North Merrick School District.

Registration for the 2025-2026 school year will be held online from January 14-16, based on the child's last name.

Eligible children must be five years old by Dec. 1, 2025.

Incoming kindergarten students with last names beginning with the letters A-I can register on Jan. 14.

Last names starting with the letters J-R, register on Jan. 15, while last names beginning with the letters S-Z can register on Jan. 16.

Parents will be required to upload documents as a scan, PDF or jpeg.
