SUV Drives Into Wooden Area Alongside CVS In Merrick: Police

The driver was not hurt in the Monday afternoon incident, police said.

MERRICK, NY — A driver jumped the curb at CVS parking lot in Merrick on Monday. At approximately 12:30 p.m., the driver went down an embankment, police said.

The vehicle came to a stop in the wooden area behind the Merrick Road parking lot.

Police said the driver was not hurt and did not require a rescue.
