🌱 Teenage Girl Killed By Drunk Driver + Baldwin Murder Arrests

A teenage girl was killed in a drunk driving accident in Nassau this weekend. Two arrests have been made in an October robbery and murder in Baldwin.

Here are the top four stories today in Merrick:

1. A 15-year-old girl was killed and a 38-year-old woman is in critical condition after a crash in Woodmere involving a drunk driver. It happened at the intersection of Peninsula Boulevard and Edward Avenue on Saturday night. Arlin Javier Aguilera was arrested. (Patch)
2. Two arrests were made in a fatal shooting in Baldwin. Freeport resident Darin Semple and Queens resident Devin Obleanis have been charged with the murder and robbery of Rafael DeLossantos, found on a sidewalk in October. (News 12)
3. Saturday night's gusts of wind toppled some trees in Nassau County like one next to a bedroom in East Massapequa but no injuries were reported. (News 12)
4. Stanford H. Calhoun High School held an art show last Friday: Bellmore-Merrick Calhoun Art Exposition. Over 150 students worked with six Calhoun art teachers for roughly three months on projects using a variety of mediums, often using technology. (LI Herald)
