Bellmore-Merrick CHSD Meeting, Tina Turner Tribute Concert This Wednesday

1. The Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District will have its second Board of Education meeting of the month at 1260 Meadowbrook Road at 8 p.m.

2. The Merrick Chamber of Commerce will host a Tina Turner tribute concert at Merrick Road Park at 8 p.m. So bring your lawn chairs and your eagerness to hear some good music.

3. Do you have something you'd like to buy, sell or trade? Add it to the boards!

4. In case you missed it, a Long Island Rail Road forum was held this week in Merrick. LIRR representatives spoke of new developments  at Merrick, Bellmore, Wantagh and Seaford stations.
