$50,000 Powerball Ticket Sold In Hudson Valley

Another third-prize winning ticket was sold in Manhattan, lottery officials said.

NEWBURGH, NY — There were two third-prize winning tickets sold for Wednesday's Powerball drawing, one of which was purchased in the Hudson Valley.

According to the New York Lottery, the prize-winning tickets each worth $50,000 were sold at:

  • Balmville Quick Stop on Route 9W in Newburgh
  • Midtown Quick Mart on East 45th in Manhattan

The winning numbers for Wednesday's Powerball drawing were 40-41-58-64-65 with the Powerball of 17.

Winning numbers for Powerball are drawn from a field of one to 69. The Powerball number is drawn from a separate field of one to 26.

Drawings for Powerball are televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m.

The jackpot for the May 21 drawing is an estimated $117 million.
