<a target="_blank" href="https://communityfoundationshv.org/" rel="nofollow">Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley</a>&nbsp;(CFHV) has awarded its 2025&nbsp;Community&nbsp;Grants,&nbsp;awarding a total of $542,000 to nonprofits across&nbsp;Dutchess, Putnam&nbsp;and Ulster&nbsp;Counties&nbsp;and marking the Foundation&rsquo;s largest&nbsp;round of&nbsp;Community grants ever.&nbsp;More than&nbsp;100 local nonprofits&nbsp;across Dutchess, Putnam and Ulster Counties&nbsp;have received&nbsp;grants of&nbsp;various sizes, marking an unprecedented level of&nbsp;CFHV-driven&nbsp;support for the&nbsp;Hudson Valley.
This year&rsquo;s&nbsp;Community&nbsp;Grant awards&nbsp;represent&nbsp;CFHV&rsquo;s largest investment in both dollars and the number of nonprofits funded, reinforcing the&nbsp;Foundation&rsquo;s commitment to fueling innovative, high-impact programs that strengthen local communities.
&ldquo;Over the past year, we listened closely to what people across the Hudson Valley care about most,&rdquo; said Laura Washington, President &amp; CEO of CFHV. &ldquo;That community input guided this year&rsquo;s grants, helping us address the most pressing needs while continuing to support the wide range of programs that make this region such a special place to call home.&nbsp;We&rsquo;re&nbsp;proud to award the largest Community Grants in our history and to stand with the organizations working every day to strengthen our communities.&rdquo;
Community Foundations is extending its impact beyond funding by supporting Hudson Valley nonprofits with essential educational resources and training.&nbsp;Through complimentary memberships to the Nonprofit Learning Lab, nonprofit leaders&nbsp;will&nbsp;gain access to expert guidance on fundraising, strategic planning, volunteer&nbsp;management&nbsp;and other critical skills. Monthly capacity-building workshops further&nbsp;strengthen organizational fundraising, governance and operations, communications, and&nbsp;financial management.&nbsp;These initiatives reflect CFHV&rsquo;s approach&nbsp;to philanthropy&nbsp;&ndash; providing nonprofits with both resources and&nbsp;expertise&nbsp;to expand their programs, launch new initiatives and amplify their impact across the community.
CFHV celebrated the&nbsp;2025&nbsp;grantees at events&nbsp;in each&nbsp;County throughout December 2025. Awarded grantees include:&nbsp;Walkway Over the Hudson, Hudson Valley Clubhouse, Hudson Valley Hospice Foundation,&nbsp;Dutchess Outreach, DAY ONE Early Learning Center, Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum, Grace Smith House,&nbsp;Child Care Council of Dutchess and Putnam,&nbsp;Cold Spring Farmers&rsquo; Market,&nbsp;Phillipstown&nbsp;Depot Theatre, Inc.,&nbsp;Sustainable Putnam,&nbsp;People&rsquo;s Place, United Way of Ulster&nbsp;County, Mentor Me of Ulster County, Children&rsquo;s Home of Kingston and many more.

$542,000 in Changemaker Funding Marks CFHV’s Largest Grant Cycle Ever

Maintaining its position as an award-winning agency, <a href="https://teamkdd.com/" target="_blank" id="OWA12528e5a-2b0e-74d5-2f06-b1afcaf992c5" title="https://teamkdd.com/" rel="nofollow" data-linkindex="1" data-auth="NotApplicable">KDD Marketing</a> is ending the year with a series of honors, including the agency&rsquo;s first Davey Award win and seventh consecutive year of accolades from the American Graphic Design Awards. These achievements bolster the marketing team&rsquo;s recent recognition as <a href="https://teamkdd.com/kdd-honored-as-ucrcoc-2025-small-business-of-the-year/" target="_blank" id="OWAaa20196c-9456-012b-3c6e-cc02fc246348" title="https://teamkdd.com/kdd-honored-as-ucrcoc-2025-small-business-of-the-year/" rel="nofollow" data-linkindex="2" data-auth="NotApplicable">Ulster County&rsquo;s 2025 Small Business of the Year</a>.
The Davey Awards, which are sanctioned and reviewed by the Academy of Interactive &amp; Visual Arts, recognize the work of small agencies, independent creators and in-house teams. As part of the 2025 award cycle, KDD Marketing received a Silver Award for Website Redesign for its team&rsquo;s work with The Emerson, a Catskills-based resort and spa.
The American Graphic Design Awards (AGDA), a long-running design competition presented by Graphic Design USA, acknowledges outstanding work in branding, print design, packaging, web and app design, social media campaigns and more. KDD Marketing was recognized for designing websites for both the Kingston Local Development Corporation and Anne Waxman. Additionally, the agency received an award for its traditional ad campaign on behalf of The Emerson.

Sarina's Transport Services, LLC is applying for funding under the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Section 5310 Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Program to support mobility management and outreach transportation for seniors and individuals with disabilities throughout New York State.
As part of the application process, Sarina&rsquo;s Transport is soliciting public comment and input from stakeholders, including transportation providers, human service agencies, senior centers, and the general public.

For the second consecutive year, <a href="https://www.tompkinsbank.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Tompkins Community Bank&rsquo;s (Tompkins)</a> Acorn Community Alliance, the bank&rsquo;s team of community volunteers, supported local food pantries with more than $1,500 in donated non-perishable food items, household essentials and personal hygiene products through its &ldquo;Fill the Vault&rdquo; donation challenge.
As families across the Hudson Valley continue to face food insecurity, these contributions from Tompkins employees and customers will help Dutchess Outreach, Putnam Community Action Partnership and the Community Food Pantry of Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown in Westchester bridge critical gaps caused by delayed SNAP benefits. 
Together, Tompkins is filling the vault with generosity and helping nourish neighbors in need.
