Arlington, Beacon, Wappingers Budgets Pass

Results are unofficial until verified by their respective school boards.

DUTCHESS COUNTY, NY — In Dutchess County, the Arlington school district passed its 2022-23 budget 3,474 to 2,048, according to unofficial results.

The spending package was $240.6 million.

Both transportation propositions were approved by the voters.

Incumbents Kelly Cahill Chanski, Marion Quinn and Mark Tornatore were re-elected to the board of education.

In the Beacon city school district, a $78.6 million budget was approved, as was the establishment of a capital reserve fund and the purchase of school buses.

A $265.7 million budget in the Wappingers school district was approved by the voters.
