Catskill Man Arrested With Weapons 2 Days In A Row: NYSP
Police said he was threatening people on the street one day and threatening to kill a trooper the next.

CATSKILL, NY — A Catskill man was arrested two days in a row after being accused having a weapon and threatening not only members of the public but also a state trooper.
The New York State Police said, shortly before 6:30 p.m. Saturday, troopers were sent to an address on Main Street in Leeds for a report of a man threatening multiple people with a knife.
Before troopers could get there, the man left the area. However, he was located walking on Main Street and identified as Garrett A. Dunbar Jr., 31, of Catskill, police said.

Troopers said they located the knife and Dunbar was arrested.
He was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, and second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor.

Dunbar was issued an appearance ticket and was taken to Columbia Memorial Hospital for a mental health evaluation.
The next day, around 9:45 a.m., troopers and members of the Greene County Sheriff's Office saw Dunbar walking toward them carrying a metal hammer.
Police said he was threatening to damage a state police vehicle and kill a trooper.
Dunbar was arrested and charged with third-degree possession of a weapon and menacing a police officer, felonies, and obstruction of governmental administration, a misdemeanor.
He was arraigned in the Town of Catskill Court and sent to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash, $10,000 bail or $15,000 partial, police said.
