The woman was charged with 14 felonies and 11 misdemeanors, police said.
HYDE PARK, NY — A health care worker was accused of stealing from one of her clients.
The New York State Police said Brandy M. Lee, 35, of Hyde Park, was arrested Tuesday and charged with first-degree identity theft, first-degree scheme to defraud, fourth-degree grand larceny and 11 counts of first-degree falsify business records, all felonies, and 11 counts of second-degree criminal impersonation, a misdemeanor.
Authorities said a tip from a financial institution investigation in conjunction with the Westchester County District Attorney's Office determined that Lee, while working as a caretaker, impersonated and stole from the person for her own financial gain.
