MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — New York voters have two primaries in 2022 before the general election in November, and early voting is available each time.

The June 28 primary covers New York's governor, lieutenant governor and State Assembly races. The August 23 primary will cover congressional and state senate elections plus a special election for New York Congressional District 19.

There will be nine days of early voting before each election. If you vote during the early voting period, you are not eligible to vote on Election Day.
