June Primary 2022: Mid-Hudson Valley Voting Guide

Registered voters may cast their ballots early at any of the voting centers in the counties in which they reside.

MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Registered voters in the mid-Hudson Valley don't have a lot of decisions to make when early voting begins Saturday.

On the ballot, though, are the top-tier state races: deciding which Democrat will face which Republican for governor and lieutenant governor.

Early Voting

There will be nine days of early voting before each election. If you vote during the early voting period, you are not eligible to vote on Election Day

For the June primary, early voting votes will be canvassed and reported after 9 p.m. June 28.

Dutchess County

In Dutchess County, you may vote early at any of the following locations:

  • Rhinebeck Town Hall, 80 E Market St, Rhinebeck
  • Fishkill Town Hall, 807 Route 52, Fishkill
  • Boardman Road Library, 141 Boardman Road, Poughkeepsie
  • Mid Hudson Library Auditorium, 105 Market St, Poughkeepsie
  • Cornell Cooperative Center, 2715 Route 44, Millbrook
  • East Fishkill Community Library, 348 Route 376, Hopewell Junction

The polls are open as follows:

  • Saturday, June 18: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
  • Sunday, June 19: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
  • Monday, June 20: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
  • Tuesday, June 21: Noon–8 p.m.
  • Wednesday, June 22: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
  • Thursday, June 23: Noon–8 p.m.
  • Friday, June 24: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 25: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
  • Sunday, June 26: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

Ulster County

In Ulster County, early voting can be done at any of six locations:

  • American Legion, 26-28 Mountain Rd., Shokan
  • Midtown Neighborhood Center, 467 Broadway, Kingston
  • Ellenville Public Library, 40 Center St., Ellenville
  • New Paltz Community Center, 3 Veterans Dr., New Paltz
  • Marlborough Town Hall, 21 Milton Turnpike, Milton
  • Saugerties Senior Center, 207 Market St., Saugerties

The polls are open as follows:

  • Saturday, June 18: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
  • Sunday, June 19: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
  • Monday, June 20: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
  • Tuesday, June 21: Noon–8 p.m. (Marlborough only 9 a.m.–5 p.m.)
  • Wednesday, June 22: 9 a.m.–5 p.m. (Marlborough only 9 a.m.–3 p.m.)
  • Thursday, June 23: Noon–8 p.m.
  • Friday, June 24: 9 a.m.–5 p.m. (Marlborough only noon–8 p.m.)
  • Saturday, June 25: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
  • Sunday, June 26: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

Orange County

In Orange County, there are seven sites where any county resident can vote early. They are:

  • City of Newburgh Activity Center, 401 Washington St., Newburgh*
  • Cornwall Ambulance Building, 1 Clinton St., Cornwall*
  • Warwick Town Hall, 132 Kings Highway, Warwick, NY*
  • Village of Montgomery Senior Center, 36 Bridge St,. Montgomery*
  • Delaware Engine Company #2, 22 Hammond St., Port Jervis*
  • Monroe Town Hall, 1465 Orange Turnpike, Monroe*
  • Middletown Senior Center, 62-70 W. Main St., Middletown*
  • Caroline Building, 23 Hatfield Lane, Goshen*

The hours for voting are as follows:

  • Saturday, June 18: 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
  • Sunday, June 19: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
  • Monday, June 20: 7 a.m.–3 p.m.
  • Tuesday, June 21: Noon–8 p.m.
  • Wednesday, June 22: Noon–8 p.m.
  • Thursday, June 23: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
  • Friday, June 24: 7 a.m.–3 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 25: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
