NEW WINDSOR, NY — An Orange County man on lifetime parole for murdering someone was accused of having an illegal handgun after being stopped for a traffic violation.
The New York State Police said Michael Maisonet, 44, of New Windsor, was stopped Thursday while driving a 2020 Honda Pilot on Renwick Street in the city of Newburgh for a vehicle and traffic violation.
