Outages In Mid-Hudson Valley Limited To Ulster, Greene

Central Hudson said it's on track to restore the outages by 3 p.m. Tuesday.

MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Wet, heavy snow and wind gusts were a major part of the late-season winter storm that tore through the region Monday in Tuesday.

Central Hudson is reporting more than 1,300 customers Tuesday morning without electricity.

Greene County is still hardest hit, with more than 700 outages as of 11 a.m. Tuesday. The towns of Lexington and Durham have in excess of 300 outages each. The estimated time for restoration is by noon for Lexington and 2 p.m. for Durham.

In Ulster County, there are more than 500 customers waiting for the lights to come back on. The town of Denning has 285 and the town of Rochester has 215. Both are estimated to be back online by 3 p.m.

The city of Newburgh in Orange County has 47 outages which are estimated to be restored by 1 p.m.
