Gaylord Leading In Republican Primary For AD 106
Seventy-three out of 75 election districts have reported so far.

DUTCHESS COUNTY, NY — With 73 out of 75 election districts reporting at 11:15 p.m., the Republican primary for the 106th Assembly District has someone clearly in the lead.
Brandon Gaylord, a history teacher and Chatham Planning board member, is leading Dean Michael, a Dutchess County small business owner, 42.5 percent to 38 percent, according to unofficial results on the state Board of Elections website.
Almost 20 percent of ballots were reported as being blank.

The eventual winner will be running against incumbent Democrat Didi Barrett in the general election in November.
Gaylord is also running on the Conservative Party line in November.

The 106th Assembly District is comprised of parts of Dutchess and Columbia counties.
