Built in 1856, the home set on 2.2 acres has three levels, with large rooms and an open layout. While it currently has five bedrooms, it can be easily converted into eight bedrooms, according to the realtor. The house includes an updated chef's kitchen with reclaimed wide-plank wood flooring that extends into the family room, a butler's pantry, and updated bathrooms.

The home has carved wood moldings, 11-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and hardwood surfaces. Of the six original fireplaces, five have been converted to coal, but the custom-carved marble mantles remain intact. The library has a functioning wood-burning fireplace with a carved wood mantel. A skylight, spanning from a cupola above to the third and second floors, provides light into both levels.
