
MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for parts of the mid-Hudson Valley.
The National Weather Service said the warning, which is in effect until 5:30 p.m Monday, is for southeastern Ulster, Dutchess, Columbia and southeastern Greene counties.
At 4:26 p.m. severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Chatham to near Pine Plains to near Hopewell Junction. It's moving northeast at 75 mph.

Sixty mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail can be expected.
There could be hail damage to vehicles and wind damage to roofs, siding and trees.
