3 Men Shot In Midtown Near Bryant Park: Police

Three young men were shot in the heart of Midtown Tuesday night, reportedly after an argument outside a recording studio.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Three men were shot in the heart of Midtown Tuesday night, according to police, who said two of the victims have since been arrested.

The shooting happened just after 10:30 p.m., when police responded to a 911 call about a man shot in front of 38 West 38th St., near the corner of Fifth Avenue.

They found three victims on the street: a 19-year-old who had been shot in the left leg, a 27-year-old shot in the abdomen and a 24-year-old shot in the torso. All three men were taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, police said.

The 19-year-old and 27-year-old were later taken into custody with charges pending, an NYPD spokesperson said. A 17-year-old was also arrested.

The shooting stemmed from an argument between rival groups outside a recording studio, where one of the two groups had been recording a music video, according to the New York Post.
