Actors, Broadway Artists Organize Midtown Pop-Up Market
The Broadway market will feature artist-run businesses on Monday, Dec. 17.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A group of actors and artists that work some of Broadway's biggest shows will be promoting their side businesses with a holiday pop-up market in the Garment District.
Vendors will set up shop on Broadway between West 36th and 37th streets from 1- 4 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 17, organizers said. Ten percent of proceeds from the market will benefit The Actors Fund.
Each vendor at the market is a business run by an artist connected to the Broadway community, organizers said. The idea for the marketplace was created by Jeremy Greenbaum of "Newsies" and Josephine Spada of "American Idiot"in order to "celebrate and foster our artist community and give a space to support each other’s creativity and entrepreneurship."
