Broadway Shows Return To Bryant Park, Lineup Announced

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Take in some show tunes on your lunch break this summer. Broadway in Bryant Park is returning for its 18th season this summer in collaboration with radio station 106.7 Lite FM, the station announced this week.

A free one-hour weekly performance featuring casts of several Broadway shows will be held for six consecutive weeks starting July 12, 106.7 Lite FM announced. This year's season will include performances from casts of new hits such as 2018's Tony Award-winning best musical "The Band's Visit," and "SpongeBob SquarePants: The Musical" as well as mainstays such as "Chicago" and "Wicked."

"We are so excited to be hosting the annual 106.7 LITE FM’s Broadway in Bryant Park for the 18th year," Chris Conley, Program Director of 106.7 LITE FM, said in a statement. "We have an incredible list of shows, including the winner of the 2018 Tony Awards’ best musical, ‘The Band’s Visit,’ among so many other new shows coupled with popular classics. We look forward to welcoming theater fans once again to this special summer series."

The shows will be held on the Bryant Park lawn between 12:30-1:30 p.m., according to a press release. Lawn seating for the performances is available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
