Bryant Park Holiday Market, Skating Rink Will Return This Month

Bryant Park's popular Winter Village is back for 2021, offering gift shopping, food and free ice-skating starting in October.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — It wouldn't be a holiday season in New York without ice-skating and gift-shopping in Bryant Park, and the annual festivities will return this month for the 20th consecutive year.

The Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park will run from Oct. 29 through March 6, 2022. Though organizers are moving "with an abundance of caution" due to the ongoing pandemic, all the time-honored attractions will be in place.

The biggest attraction, of course, is the outdoor skating rink, the city's only free-admission ice-skating venue. Skate rentals can be reserved online, and new reservation dates will be released on a rolling basis throughout the season.

Then there's the open-air holiday market, which will be feature more than 170 new and returning merchants, open through Jan. 2, 2022.

Masks will be recommended for visitors, and high-touch surfaces and shared rental equipment will be cleaned regularly.
