Developers File Plans For 159-Room Times Square Hotel
The new hotel will rise more than 200 feet on West 46th Street between Broadway and Eighth Avenue.
MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — The hotel development boom in Midtown Manhattan continues on as another developer has filed plans with the city Department of Buildings to construct a 21-story hotel near Times Square.
The new hotel development will rise 201-feet-tall on West 46th Street between Broadway and Eighth Avenue, according to building plans. The 21-story hotel will contain 159 rooms and amenities such as a lounge, a dining and buffet area and bike storage.
Developer Andrew Roufail is behind the new hotel, which boasts a great location for tourists. The West 46th Street development site is just a block away from Times Square and located near a number of Broadway theaters.

The building site is currently occupied by a parking lot. Demolition plans have not been filed for the current site, and it's unclear whether they will be needed.
