English Tourist Goes Missing In Midtown Manhattan, Police Say

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — The NYPD are trying to locate an English tourist who went missing in Midtown Manhattan, police said.

John Tench, 67, was last seen Thursday night around 10:15 at the Times Square W Hotel building on Broadway between West 46th and 47th streets, police said. The Northumberland County resident was staying at the Hilton Garden Inn on Eighth Avenue and West 48th Street during his time in New York.

Tench is described as standing 5-foot-9 and weighing about 180 pounds with a medium build, salt and pepper hair and a salt and pepper mustache, police said. He was last seen wearing a black hat, a black hooded toggle jacket, blue jeans and brown boots.
