Fire At Midtown Hilton Injures 3: FDNY

MIDTOWN, NY — A fire at the Midtown Hilton Hotel left three people with minor injuries, fire officials said.

The fire was reported to be a rubbish fire on the fourth floor of the 45-story hotel in a banquet room, an FDNY spokesperson told Patch. The hotel is located at 1335 Sixth Avenue.

The call for the fire came in at 6:40 a.m. and the blaze has since been brought under control.

At least three people suffered minor injuries and were transported to St. Luke's Hospital, the spokesperson said.
