Man Found Dead On Herald Square Subway Platform, Police Say
The 62-year-old man's body was found Tuesday morning. An autopsy will determine the cause of death.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — The NYPD is investigating the death of a man whose body was found Tuesday morning on the platform of a Herald Square subway station, police said.
Officers found the 62-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive around 8:45 a.m. on the northbound Q train platform at the Sixth Avenue and West 34th Street station, police said. EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The city medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the man's official cause of death. Police could not identify the man pending family notification.
