Man Hit In Head During Midtown Robbery, Police Say
The victim suffered injuries to his skull and a broken nose.
MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — The NYPD is trying to identify two men wanted in connection with a violent robbery in Midtown Manhattan, police said.
A 40-year-old man standing on the corner of West 37th Street and Seventh Avenue on the night of March 17 when he was approached by the two robbers, police said. The men struck him in the head, causing him to fall to the ground, police said.
The muggers snatched the man's wallet, which contained $35 in cash and some credit cards, before fleeing the scene, police said.

EMS rushed the man to a hospital where he was treated for a broken nose and lacerations and contusions to the skull.
Police described the suspects as men in their 20s or 30s and released photos of the pair taken on street-facing security cameras.
