Man Stabbed Following Argument At Midtown McDonald's: NYPD

MIDTOWN, NY — New York City police are on the lookout for a man accused of stabbing a fellow fast food diner Tuesday morning.

According to NYPD, around 8:20 a.m., the suspected stabber got into an argument with a 57-year-old man inside the McDonalds at 490 8th Avenue.

Police said the dispute continued outside the restaurant, at which point the man took out a cutting instrument and stabbed the victim once in his torso.

The NYC Daily News reported that the stabbing happened after the suspect complained to a security guard that his coffee was too sweet. The victim reportedly came to the guard's defense, and things violently escalated from there.

EMS transported the victim to an area hospital where he is currently in stable condition, police said.
