Man Stabbed In Manhattan, Police Say

HELL'S KITCHEN, NY — A 41-year-old man was stabbed on Tuesday night while walking in Hell's Kitchen, prompting a police investigation, New York City Police Department officials said.

According to the NYPD, officers responded to the corner of West 49th Street and Eighth Avenue just before 9 p.m. and found the victim with a stab wound to his back, police said.

Police said the man was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue and is expected to recover.
