Men Steal Safe Containing $20K From Hell's Kitchen Bar: Police

The two men broke into the Horus Too Hookah Bar through a basement entrance, police said.

HELL'S KITCHEN, NY — Call it the hookah bar heist. The NYPD is trying to identify two men who broke into a Hell's Kitchen business and lifted a safe containing copious amounts of cash, police said.

On the night of Sept. 11, two robbers gained access to the Horus Too Hookah Bar on West 46th Street between Ninth and 10th avenues by breaking into a basement entrance on the sidewalk, police said. Once inside the business, the men located a safe and hauled the lockbox onto the street and into a white Dodge Challenger, police said.

The men drove off with the safe, which contained $20,000 in cash, police said.

Police don't have much identifying information about the suspects, but security photos reveal that one of the men is heavyset and the other is thin.
