NYC's Largest French Fry Served Up By Midtown Restaurant
It's basically a whole, deep-fried potato.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Attention French fry lovers (everyone?): One Midtown steakhouse wants to serve you the city's largest order of fries next month for National French Fry Day.
Michael Jordan's The Steak House is touting its newly-invented super fries as New York's biggest — and they have a solid case. Each of Executive Chef Cenobio Canalizo's fries weighs a hefty 12 to 16 ounces and is basically just a whole potato cut into a rectangle and dipped in the deep fryer.
Because one 16-ounce French fry isn't enough, the restaurant serves them in an order of three for $19.99, according to a press release. That's right, for just under $20 you can effectively eat your head's weight in fried potatoes.

While some may doubt the gigantic fries have the same appeal as their smaller cousins, the restaurant claims Canalizo's creations are "crispy yet tender."
National French Fry Day will be celebrated on Friday, July 13. Michael Jordan's The Steak House is located inside Grand Central Terminal and overlooks the main concourse.
