NBC Anchor Bruce Beck Robbed Outside Rockefeller Center: Cops, Reports
The beloved sportscaster was not injured, according to police and reports.

MIDTOWN — NBC 4 sports anchor Bruce Beck was robbed of his wallet in Rockeller Plaza Wednesday night, according to police and reports.
Beck, 66, was returning to the studio from a later dinner when the thief grabbed him near West 49th Street about 9:25 p.m., according to police and the Daily News.
The wallet was cut from Beck's wallet, sources told the News.

The thief then disappeared into the nearby 49th Street N and R station where he was last seen with another man, believed to be a lookout, jumping the turnstiles, police said.

The sportscaster's robber wore a white t-shirt, black sweatpants and a black sweatshirt tied around his waist, police said.

An NBC 4 spokesperson told the New York Post Beck was not hurt.
Beck is NBC 4's lead sports anchor, the host of Sports Final and a grandad.
