New Hell's Kitchen Restaurants: Georgian Bistro, Cocktail Bar
From an outpost of a Brooklyn bistro to a bar run by local restaurateurs, here are the newest restaurants coming to Hell's Kitchen

HELL'S KITCHEN, NY — A hearty Georgian bistro and a cafe-cocktail bar are the two newest venues coming to Hell's Kitchen in the coming months.
The upcoming eateries will be presented Thursday to a Community Board 4 committee as their owners seek the board's approval to obtain alcohol licenses. They are among the dozens of new restaurants that Patch has covered in recent months as the city recovers from the depths of the pandemic.
Here are the new businesses we learned about this week:

Cheeseboat (747 Ninth Ave., between West 50th and 51st streets):
- Cheeseboat will be an outpost of the Williamsburg restaurant of the same name: a Georgian bistro serving cheese-filled breads, dumplings, soups and hearty desserts with a focus on locally-sourced ingredients.
- The restaurant is moving into the storefront that was previously home to Uncle Nick's Greek Cuisine.
- It will be open daily, from 11 a.m. to midnight Monday-Wednesday and 11 a.m-2 a.m. on Thursdays through Sundays. The space seats 90 people at 33 tables, and plans to put additional seats in the backyard and outside via the Open Restaurants program.

The Farrier (644 10th Ave., between West 45th and 46th streets):

- The Farrier will be a cafe and cocktail bar, whose two partners include one of the owners of Hold Fast, a popular pub two blocks away on West 46th Street.
- The owners have signed a 10-year lease for their 10th Avenue space, according to Commercial Observer, which first reported on the opening. The storefront previously housed Dianne & Elisabeth, a wine bar.
- The Farrier will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m., seating 45 people indoors — plus a rear yard and sidewalk seating.
Insomnia Cookies (796 Ninth Ave., near West 53rd Street):
- Patch reported last week that the popular late-night dessert chain had opened up shop on Ninth Avenue.
- Insomnia will be open daily — until 1 a.m. Sunday-Wednesday, and as late as 3 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. It will deliver throughout Hell's Kitchen: between 62nd and 34th streets to the north and south, and Sixth Avenue and the West Side Highway to the east and west.
