NJ Transit Temporarily Suspends Penn Station Service
Service between New Jersey and New York was suspended while NJ Transit crews worked to fix an overhead wire problem at Penn Station.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Overhead wire problems at Penn Station forced NJ Transit to suspend service Wednesday afternoon between New Jersey and New York City, transit officials said.
Service was suspended around 2:20 p.m. due to "overhead wire issues" in the nation's busiest transit hub, NJ Transit officials announced on social media. Service returned shortly before 3 p.m. but was subject to 60-minute delays.
While NJ Transit rail lines were in a state of chaos, NJ Transit bus and private carriers are accepted rail tickets and passes. PATH Train also accepted NJ Transit rail tickets at the at Newark, Hoboken and 33rd Street stations.

Rail service in and out of PSNY is suspended due to Amtrak overhead wire issues in Penn Station New York. NJ Transit bus and private carriers are accepting NJT rail tickets and passes. PATH is accepting NJT rail tickets and passes at Newark, Hoboken and 33rd St.
