Man Dragged To Death After Bag Snags On Subway: Police, Reports
The man was pulled onto the tracks at Grand Central Station.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A man died Tuesday night after being struck by a train at Grand Central Terminal, police and transit officials said.
Several news outlets reported that the man's bag got snagged on the train as it pulled out of the station, dragging him onto the tracks.
EMS arrived at the 7 train platform at Grand Central around 7:30 p.m. to find a person on the tracks, an NYPD spokesman said. He was declared dead at the scene and removed from the tracks while the MTA cut power to the station, police said.

Police said there is no criminal activity suspected.
Service on the 7 line was suspended between Manhattan and Queens while responders operated at Grand Central Terminal, transit officials said. The LIRR honored MetroCard holders at Penn Station, Woodside and Flushing/Main Street stations for transit between the two boroughs.
