Person Hit By Train At Herald Square Subway Station, MTA Says
A person was hit on the B, D, F and M platform around 9:30 a.m. Monday.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A person was struck by a train at the Herald Square subway station Monday morning, causing delays and service changes on several lines, MTA officials announced.
The person was hit on the B, D, F and M platform at the 34th Street and Sixth Avenue station around 9:30 a.m., transit officials said. Passengers on the train tweeted that they were being told to walk through to the end of the train, but that many doors were locked.

The MTA implemented the following service changes after the person was struck:

- There is no northbound M train service north of Delancey St-Essex St because a person was struck by a train at 34 St-Herald Sq.
- Northbound B and D trains are running on the A line from W 4 St-Washington Sq to 59 St-Columbus Circle.
- Expect delays on northbound B, D, and A train service.
